Helen was raised in Northern Ireland, and lived in England, the USA and Brazil before moving to Geneva at the end of 2007.

Helen has hosted ex-patriate social groups in her home for many years and participated in larger group Bible studies in the US, Brazil & Geneva. She enjoys gathering with women to share life experiences and also study & discuss God's Word.

"The Bible is a manual of instruction from a loving God who wants us to know what is best. In this day, in the western world, Bibles are plentiful - it's in our language, portable and written such that we can understand it....if we only but open the cover and take time to read it."

"I am excited to open God's Word together and share experiences with women who are in Geneva for a season or a lifetime."

"Through all of these transitions, and whatever the future holds, I cling to the never-changing love and presence of Jesus Christ, & remember that this world is not my permanent home."                                                                                                               Elly, relocated to US in 2022

Donna is American but was born in Côte d’Ivoire in western Africa and has lived abroad more years than in her home country. She and her husband arrived in Geneva in 1999 with their three children who are now grown and spreading their wings.

Donna has been involved in Bible studies for many years, and finds that reading and studying this book is a critical anchor for her daily experience. Connecting the dots between the Old and New Testaments and recognizing the intricate, gracious thread of God’s plan throughout puts her own life into perspective.

"As one of the discussion facilitators for Geneva Bible Study, I look forward to engaging with other women as we read and explore this amazing book—God’s personal word to us."

I’ve been a part of a few Bible studies since moving back to the US and I’ve got to say that none of them hold a candle to Geneva’s.

You ladies have something special and I miss it. I’m so glad that I got to be a part of it, even if it was a short while.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Julie C, relocated to US in 2018

Kerstin was born and raised in Germany, but has relocated and lived in 4 countries over 3 continents. Her family moved to Geneva in August 2006.

"Like so many others, I have my ups and downs in life and lots of questions about many things. Life does not always go according to my plan. But yet, I know that a loving God is holding the world together"

One of Kerstin's favourite Bible passages is from the book of James: Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. (James 4:8)

"I look forward to drawing closer to God and to learn more about the love He has for us, by studying the book of John with women from all walks of life.“

Nancy was born & raised in the US with Mexican heritage. She grew up in a Christian home and credits a Luis Palau crusade altar call for a complete life change. Nancy and her husband of 14 years have called Geneva home since 2016.

While living as an ExPat in Geneva hasn't been the cute European fairy tale life, it is in this Bible Study group where she has the closest  sense of community and found true connections.

As an avid community builder, Nancy makes a point to grow where she is planted by using traditional means & connecting via social media.

"I wouldn't be able to have survived the hardships life has given me, from the death of my mom at a young age to being childless by circumstance: had it not been through the provisions of God. All adventures both highs & lows have been curated by God. I owe my life of wellness, family, and abundance, to God.  I hope you join us, there is no need to do life alone."

Ephesians 3.20 - Now unto Him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
